I think what he means is that those are the Turbo Aero wheels from the sedan. The CT has a similar but different wheel with additional cutouts. They work fine, just odd to see the sedan wheels on a CT.
Congrats on the new ride!
Dropped my ‘21 off yesterday at 8am and chatted with the SA about the update. He said that they are fighting Porsche on the billable hours for the update. Porsche claims it should take 4.5 hrs and most of the time it takes much longer. So the techs and dealer are left in the lurch if the update...
You have been buying product from China since 2006? Whoa. You know who else has?
Every human on earth.
You could tattoo my post on your arm, but clearly you do not understand how Chinese companies work that are not governed or dictated to by foreign countries. Buying some products does not...
This x100.
I am assuming that 4EVer has not actually ever worked in product development to know what the dichotomy of designed in US and made in China vs. designed in China and made in China.
I am in product development, and pre-Covid would go to China for weeks at a time roughly 3x a year...
I bought a demo car, had 500 miles when I got it and was not titled so I can get the tax credit. No regrets. Car was perfect save for some scrapes on the lower B pillar from people getting in and out. Do it, CT’s are tough to get, I would have preferred a CT over a sedan.
I agree. I drove one prior to buying my Taycan RWD and the RS6 felt very heavy and wasn’t impressive in power. I know they can be easily tuned but it feels very top heavy and floaty compared to the Taycan. I had an order in on an RS6 and cancelled after that. Plus coming from multiple Porsche’s...
Is this worth 2 Plaid's? I don't think so. And I wonder if the laggy infotainment has been fixed yet?
The problem with these upstart EV companies is overpromising and under-delivering of actual cars. And the higher the price, the less likely I would be willing to spend on an unproven...
Not the best pics, but this is with newly added H&R spacers 15mm front 14mm rear. They seem perfect to me.
Car is in the “low” air suspension setting in the pics.
That does look like something pointy hit it with force. Is the surface smooth on both sides? Kinda wild if that was a defect that manifested itself that way. I have the same option on my car.
Personally I think my RWD with Performance battery is fast enough, and I'm coming from a 991.2 911.
You can't use much more power than this on the street anyway.
My car has less than 1,500 miles and has $23k in options, and a CPO (was a 500 mile dealer demo) and I might be interested in...
If Patek was just over $30k I would have 4 Nautilus’ right now. Ha! They are justified because of the horological significance, hand made, desirability, rarity, aesthetics, etc. in addition to being a place where wealthy can park cash into assets that don’t depreciate and simultaneously flex on...
I get the frustration completely. I had a deposit for 6 months on a CT and no movement and by sheer luck found a 500 mile dealer demo car that was close enough to what I wanted, that I decided to just pull the trigger and cancel my order.
The car I found was a 2021 sedan and even at sticker...
That would be a much better option in my opinion, but the colors aren’t for me - and I’m of the camp that I like my speedy’s to be hand wound.
The main difference between a mechanical watch and a smart watch is that in 2 years time, one of them will be in a watch case, while the other in a...
Honestly I'm also kinda disappointed in Porsche. Tag is kind of low-end nowadays and you pay for their expansive marketing campaigns in the inflated pricing of their highly mediocre watches.
Now if Porsche did a collaboration with some real haute horology, then the collectors would really go...
