to replace the current battery costs about $60,000 for the part alone. My guess is, a battery swap is even harder than an engine swap. The car would essentially be a write off if the battery fails on 5 year or older car. The rest of the parts, including the faulty battery, having a high resale...

This is the issue. The fact it was 2 months for me means almost nothing in this crazy situation we find our selves in.

There are 2 different aluminium pedals plus the basic plastic one. The trick one is extra, the more simple steel one is included on the standard spec of GTS and up. I found it in writing on the technical pages of the porsche.com site so my dealer is contacting porsche warranty about getting it...
