LOL, I went downstairs to try out rebooting, and when I started the car, the little tab was back, so I could click it, and *yay*, the display opened the shortcut bar again!
So I guess after a few days of not working, once I finally decided to put in the effort to ask about it on the forum, it...
I've dug around all the menus and couldn't find a way to turn it back on. There used to be a sort of "tab" at the top of the touchpad area that would shrink/grow the touchpad area and that's gone too.
Any ideas?
Sorry to hear. My 2020 Turbo sat in the garage for all of January while I was out of the country, and it was fine when I came back.
I do have a 12V jump starter ready though, as early cars had some issues with the 12V battery dying. (Luckily mine never did die on me)
PCM has always been terrible for Favorites, and the Taycan is just following in the steps of its predecessors :P
Since SiriusXM dropped VSIN, I never change channels now anyway.
Press the leftmost "tab" (I think it's called Play) and it will switch the view. I think the playlist tab is the 2nd one, and Play is the first.
With the flat interface, it doesn't look like it, but the tabs are at the top of the screen
Yes it is.
And to the OP, I never bother to carry any of the charging stuff with, as I’m not going anywhere I couldn’t charge if needed with the Taycan.
Porsche would have no idea what each dealer is planning for each of their allocations.
If Turbo S allocations are very few per year, then the dealership is likely to allot those allocations towards their 'best' customers first, like they do with other hard to get models.
"NF0" tires are literally Porsche spec tires. Using other tires obviously can't void your car warranty, but Porsche is one of the brands that has their own tire specs.

If you are using the USB-C ports, but using an adapter, then get rid of the adapter and get a USB-C cable. Some USB-A to USB-C adapters are weird and only work plugged in one way.
I destroyed a front tire on Friday night. Luckily, the dealer I had the car towed to could find a tire. I was really worried, given there's none available on tirerack.com.
The service advisor said the distributor is requiring dealers to show a work order to get a tire to make sure noone is...
Waze seems to be messed up when waking from sleep mode in CarPlay. I end up just restarting it to make it actually wake up and update the screen and stuff.
It's often more than just grippiness, better tires just have a much better feel, even when not anywhere near the limit, that can be really obvious. The Taycan is so heavy that it might not be as noticeable though.
Good tires will easily lose you a bunch of range. Which shows just how bad no-season tires are for actually gripping the road.
I've been super tempted to swap out the horrible tires on the Bolt forever, but it's my wife's car and she'd notice the range loss too much. :P
I didn't even bother to install the PMCC on the wall, and I'm still using the ChargePoint I already had, which is a 40A (32A continuous) charger. You have to have some pretty special use cases to actually need a 100A charger... especially when the 150kW EA charger down the street is free.. :P
