In the Netherlands there are insurance companies that have an extended insurance for the battery pack. Whether it’s broken or <70% and not under warranty anymore. Very interesting! It costs about €25 a month but that is worthwhile considering the cost of replacement!
Gonna give it a try in a few weeks at a hotel in Paris! First Taycan holiday :)
it’s gonna be a sport to get there with almost empty battery pack and charge for free ;D
I’m super curious for the whole smarty system to figure out when en where to charge and for how long on the way.
(Actually I’m...
Off topic.. today I did the circuit run on Zandvoort (F1) circuit. Also Porsche races are here often as well as drivers experience days. Did it ages ago with the 911 Carrera 3.2, will with the Taycan as well. This year maybe, otherwise next year.
anyhow, the scenery was awesome!
Here a few pics from this afternoon. Hubby not here, he had to go to the guitar-shop. We all need to prioritize!
wallbox also got installed today.. all ready to go! L
Thank you!
Yes. Thats exactly where she is now; in the candystore 🥰. Going for a ‘test’drive this afternoon with the family. RDW hopefully makes it fast with the registration, i hope for end of next week!

I appreciate your concern for new Taycan owners. Speaking for myself, new owner - car not even in my possession yet, so future new owner - I am so glad I found this forum after I choose the car and made the down payment! Might have not bought her if I had read all the possible things that can...
Tomorrow finally my purchased Taycan arrives at the dealership! It feels like a highly anticipated blind-date. I’m actually having butterflies in the stomach!
will await her at the gate :)
and then another week of waiting for registration in the Netherlands and putting in my name… o dear, it...
Especially highways are my worst when it comes to fatigue. On holidays we tend to take the smaller or even tiny roads, make up to 300km a day and have a holiday everywhere. Passing through nice villages we stop quite often as well.
especially with a 10 year old in the back it’s better to make...
Not feeling guilty at all but extremely happy that next week will be the last time ever to fill up with fuel at about €2,50/l! Wallbox and solar panels are ready to receive the Taycan! I just pity the poor souls with their diesels and petrolcars...
