Cmon. Don’t read between the lines. Of course preconditioning BEFORE DC charging is vitally important. Preconditioning DURING DC charging is a non-sense
Definitely. There is already excess of heat, why would one try to heat more?! :) Nobody is supposed to use a timer with dc charging. It just doesn’t make any sense
I’m 100% sure the timer includes the battery. When I bought my car, I wanted to set to charge only up to 80%. At first, I did it with a timer + charging profile. Every morning I saw my battery to be extremely warm and charging wasn’t that effective.
Still don’t get it. You’re joking, right? I mean charging and using between 50-70%.
PS Are you sure they are not charging? It looks very much they’re using one of these -
I made a call. They suggested to wait if it gets repeated. And then they can diagnose the car.
Unfortunately, I only have a wired adapter for bmw. Going to order a bt one that works with CarScanner.
Good time of the day all!
I’m yet another lucky to get a similar red error. Restarted the car and it disappeared. The Porsche app also reported the charging problem (my wife called me and said so).
Shall I start to worry and go to the dealer? The car is at 47k km and still has warranty.
I believe it doesn’t matter if you adjust the tire pressure on cold tires to the recommended values whether cold is 10 or 20 or even 30. It must be on cold tires. Period. Each 10 degrees add/remove 0.1 bar.
So if the cold temperature at a specific period of the year is 20, then you should set...
I think the dealer showed me the sound from this TSB https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10200877-0001.pdf. But still they sent my video to the factory.
I saw a TSB that was about insufficient braking power or the pedal press was too long or something similar. The thing is that the dealer showed me a TSB with a video by Porsche which stated the sound is normal.
regarding stiffness I own this car since February and never noticed that before...
Hey,
I reported to my dealer that there is a donkey sound coming from the brake, when I drive in mornings for the first a couple of kilometers. After that the issue disappears.
However, what’s also worrying is that I found a knocking sound coming from the rear when pressing the brakes hard...
A Burmester owner here. I recently listened to Bose and I’d say the problem is not with the bass, but clarity. I’m really afraid now it’d be hard to find my next taycan with burmester as well as the current one ?
nevertheless, congrats on the mod!
I believe we need more data. These graphs just show average. But can we get also median value? Can we also get the worst and the best distribution, etc?
