  1. September OTA Update Coming

    That’s a false positive :) look here https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/ota-software-update-july-17-2023.16529/
  2. A/C reboot required

I wouldn’t say it’s underpowered. It works well to my liking… just that it stopped to work once… that never happened again after that time
  3. A/C reboot required

Happened to me once as well when I was navigating to the destination and had about 20% left. My first impression that it was some unknown navigation feature that turned off the a/c THAT early. But it recovered after restarting the car.
  4. Low DC charging speed is less harmful?

I’m just speculating with my engineering gut. But you’re right.. I forgot the 400-800v conversion. Nevertheless, Porsche engineers have made everything so that we can just enjoy the Taycan.
  5. Low DC charging speed is less harmful?

Maybe 20kw dc is even better as the cars components do not convert ac->dc (just a wild guess).
  6. Damage from pressing both pedals after failing to engage LC?

It doesn’t push any current to the motors while you do so. Otherwise, one would feel the car tries to go forward (same as on the ICE).
  7. Life's too short...

Meh, all say better tech in Tesla, but don’t mention exactly what they mean. If we’re talking about their inbuilt “iPad”, ok. But it lacks 360 cameras, rear wheel steering and more. Is it better in the chassis tech? No. Is it better in the motor tech? At some degree, but it’s really a tiny...
  8. Burmester sound system option

I also have burmester. What disappoints me most is the poor vibration suppression. I could fixed most of the rattles but it’s so disappointing there are still some. The only way to fix that is a full disassembly of the doors, which I don’t have time for.
  9. Seat rattle

That’s it. They are bad at fixing that. I also have 14 positions seat.
  10. Seat rattle

No, that’s the rattle that is produced by the rear trim cover. I can easily reproduce that by just touching the seat
  11. My Taycan 4S with a personal touch: new 22" wheels

Can you share the brand and model of the wheels?
  12. Seat rattle

    Anyone?
  13. MyPorsche app updated

Didn’t know a passenger is a co-driver actually. Will start to call my wife like this :D
  14. MyPorsche app updated

I have the intelligent climatization enabled with the temperature range of 5-23 C set as an exception. Never had any reminders yet as our summer is exactly this temperature this time :D
  15. I am just unlucky, or is this a common theme?

…. and words from strangers about how cool “your” car is (I’m constantly hearing that).
  16. Taycan Turbo GT?

A bit of offtopic, but why does this chart shows taycan chargin 150kw from ~35%? I usually charge at home but during my yesterday’s first long trip after buying my taycan I got flat 255-266kw charging rate during my short charging session. I needed to plug the car for 6 minutes and charged from...
  17. Seat rattle

Does anybody know how to remove the trim panel from the driver’s seat? That trim piece on the back of my seat produces freaking annoying noises - it’s like something rubbing against each other. I definitely need to tape that
  18. Any way to make HOLD function ALWAYS enabled?

?‍♂️ my message was that it’s not even the same within one brand. don’t understand what’s the deal to press the brake a bit harder (you mentioned pressing TWICE, but it’s not necessary. You don’t seem to understand how it operates)? HOLD is always ON, unlike on BMW where there is a button to...
  19. Any way to make HOLD function ALWAYS enabled?

Please read carefully what I said. On X5, if hold was enabled BY A BUTTON, it was ON always. But to engage that, it was enough to JUST stop. Same was with my BMW 7. It WAS different with a bmw 3 loaner I got once - you had to press the break pedal harder (the same way as it is on Porsche). it...
