I'm getting close to one year after my car's delivery, the bike rack is still not in sight, although Porsche is heavily advertising it as one of the best feature of the Cross Turismo (which really is). It was one of the things that made me decide for the CT.
Now my dealer says that despite...
Over the years I owned 5 cars made by BMW. 2021, I simply didn't have a good product to buy. I drive their E60 V8 today and driving it is as fun as the Taycan, albeit a much older car.
They used to be the discrete car that takes you fast(est) from A to B. People wouldn't know what that is, the...
I'm wondering if one can remove these arches and leave the car as it is. Except a few holes, is there anything else to fix? In other words does it have the bodywork of a GTS Sport Turismo under the plastic arches?
Same here, my car gets misty if I turn the air recirculation on. After the weather turned cold screen gets foggy suddenly, which was very dangerous several times (passing a truck at night). I have the ionization feature add-on, if that matters.
Anyone else seeing this often? Never had a car...
Porsche launched a new app, called My Porsche. I got it recommended via their Smart Mobility team after complaining of technical issues and discrepancies in their Connect app. I installed the new one. There's not much besides a different layout AND tons of ads-oriented sections (completely...
After many attempts to find out if an update to PCM 6 will bring Android Auto to MY2021 cars and earlier, I got a negative plus that there's no time window for any of the past cars. If you own an Android Porsche expects you to switch to Iphone or sell your car. Whatever fits you.
This is for me...
Interesting, so you mean that the cable will filter whatever comes in and the maximum is 32A. That makes sense if the cable is different for the 22kw on board charger.
Whenever we connect the Porsche home charger to our cars, its screen will tell you the speed you are charging vs the total available. Mine shows 16A (car is standard, so this is the equivalent of 11KW on 3 phases) / 32A (I assume this is the maximum of the charger).
I have a 3 phase connection...
This is a workaround that might be useful to people missing this option. Most EVs use coasting to replenish batteries but the Taycan is different (and brilliant imo). However, if you really need this feeling of someone pressing the brake for you, turn the active cruise control option, set it to...
Sure, but they are three... and I thibk there is no difference on the charger's screen beteween one phase and three phase, both equiped with same breakers.
Yes, it makes sense, but why isn't the charger showing 16x3=48A, since it gets all three phases? Current reading is the same as for a single phase (though charging is correct).
