This is what a RWD Taycan will cost you in Hong Kong

That's a little over $200K USD and there is a nine month waiting list. Still, I've seen a few in my few days here. Many more 911s of course. (Before you tell me I'm not posed with a RWD, I'll beat you to it. The RWD was black and didn't photograph well).

Traded my '21 Taycan Turbo S in.... (Inside info for anyone looking for a TTS)

Wow you are right. Neptune vs Gentian Blue in itself is like a $3K upgrade. Tell them to take $3K more off if you decide to make an offer! Thanks for helping a future owner score a good deal.

Taycan RWD loud whine from drivetrain?

I find this really odd as this forum has been around for some time and I've never heard of this problem before from previous posts (granted I could have missed it). The vast majority of owners don't have this issue or it would have come up sooner. But it seems a significant number do have the...

Long term Taycan owners: Are you still enjoying the car every day? Does it still feel special?

Very happy with mine after 15 months and 10K miles. I wouldn't say its a blast to drive coming off a 911S but it feels solid, drives great, and has cool onboard tech which works about 85% of the time.

LCA (Lane Change Assist) may not work properly.

I was in for an unrelated issue at the dealership the other day and was told I was getting an update of the cameras that support the ALK feature. Not sure if it's related to the problem you experienced but probably worth inquiring. Sorry I don't have a record of what update version # was being...

Storage ideas for driver's door area?

That shit will end up on the concrete for sure if it's stuck in the door. I have a sunglass clip on the passenger visor which works perfect. As far as other junk, I've seen Porsche branded organizers that fit between the seat and the center console. It's probably not authentic Porsche but has...

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

For anyone still following....I took my car - reluctantly (had bad experiences in the past) - to a San Diego dealership that offered me an appointment today for the brake flush. I asked them to call me before I came down for an estimate; of course they didn't. So I showed up, and they quoted...

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

OK everyone I removed 99% of liquid from the reservoir and the car has not moved since I discovered the problem. I have refilled with DOT4 and plan to do a brake flush for added safety. Thanks to everyone that weighed in. I learned an expensive lesson. Don't listen to tunes on my earbuds...

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

I read a Rennlist post by a track driver who recommended Pentosin. I can get it here at the parts store, so am good to go.

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

I decided I would forgo the free car wash. I got off the filter and sucked all the fluid out. It was a little cloudy so that's probably not good. I am sure I got it all. The car was never moved before or since the operation. Now I need to find the right brake fluid. I searched the owner's...

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

Problem is I can’t figure how to get that yellow filter out in order to drain it with a basted Seems to only come out if aligned in some mysterious way I cannot divine how? Am I dumber than I thought? I don’t want to damage this as well.

Bonehead move - poured washer fluid in brake fluid receptacle

Thanks everyone. I tried to remove it via baster but the fluid coming out is yellow and not blue. So, I guess it's already mixed. I made an appt with my dealership for Tuesday and won't drive it until then. The car has 11K miles and as I said, only about an ounce of washer fluid went in, so I...
