My A/C was repaired when the car was 5,5 years old. It was a faulty pressure switch. It was covered by the extended warranty, no questions asked. I don't understand why you got a bill for the A/C repairs.

Nope, I just drove like I used to. After a while it's charged and drops to 13,4V again.

I think you're missing the point.

Remember that with the "extended warranty" a lot of wearable parts are not covered (including the 12V battery). Porsche wants to change your brake pads every 6 years for instance. When you have warranty you HAVE TO change them ($1500-$2000). Without warranty you're fine. There's something to win...

It doesn't matter. Where do you think Range mode (for instance) gets his energy from to heat up the battery? Sport Plus does it more quickly and on demand, not by asking the nav to warm it up, that's my point.

You already have. It's on your steering wheel: switch to Sport Plus and your battery will be warmed up much quicker than just entering a HPC-destination in the nav. Also use regen cuz regen will also warm up the battery (obviously). You are using the heat of the motors instead of cooling them...
