With newer Taycans there is no point going beyond 48amp since they only come with an 11kW AC charger, and additionally Porsche seems to have artificially limited them to 40amp charge rate.

For #2, you are able to save the changeable settings to each drive mode (height, recuperation, suspension). For example I changed the height for Sport mode to be Lowered instead of Normal and saved it that way.

Just select Performance from PCM and the first tab that is shown (Dynamics) displays a bar graph of Brake and Power. Brake can be either green, red, or both. Power will be blue. Also included a photo.

Where did you see specs saying it only supports up to 9.6kW? I only saw that on the mobile charger that came with the car but that's a limitation on the charger not the car. The vehicle manual says max 11kW or 22kW if you purchased the 22kW charger. Also this post from another 2025 owner shows...

The Tesla app is also only showing 9.3kW when plugged into the Taycan, and 11.3 kW when plugged into the Model Y.
