Hard to decide what is worse, that fat useless orange blob, the spineless enablers, or the MAGAts that support him. If you ever come across one, they are as ignorant as you can imagine. Videos of them at his rallies don’t do justice for how pathetic they are. How we have succumbed to these...
You can check with the dealership you sold it to. After I traded in my old wrangler, I found some parts and asked the dealership to reach out to the new owner if they wanted them. Everyone was fine sharing contact info, so the guy gave me a call the next day.
Consider yourself lucky if the other driver actually has insurance. Not only are drivers in the US some of the worst in the world, they are also the most irresponsible. If you have a recording of him being aggressive, it will go your way.
Every time I explain this to passengers, I get an “uh-huh.” It hits deep. “No really, just like how those squeaky ass brakes are so performance.” I’ve had both in every dang Porsche except for my first one - ‘98 Boxter. Miss that car.
Looks like it’s spidering out from an impact point. Could have happened a while ago and just now spreading because of the cold. Glass is pretty easy to pull out if your comfortable removing the door panel.
Worth stocking up on these heaters for a future business? I foresee lots of cold Taycan owners…hmmm🤔
I wonder what the failure mechanism is. Seems completely random with some of them going out so soon.
After my brake line recall, the brakes seemed to firm up and travel was shortened.. However, every so often it seems like it returns and I have to really stomp down / pump on the brakes to get them to engage. So far only at low speed, seems to occur after a stop or after a car wash.

Hi Monique - I bounce between Littleton and Colfax for warranty work. I usually go to Dart for anything else. Are you a PCA member? It helps with discounts if needed.
Surprising a dealership doesn’t know how to properly do the paperwork. More so that they won’t help you. I would probably try again at DMV right around 5pm. They move paper a whole lot faster when it’s closing time.
Anyone ever ask to keep the old heater? Might be interesting to actually try and figure out the failure mechanism to see if we can do any maintenance or change how it is used.
We tried buying a second Taycan turbo s from CarMax, black, Florida car, 10k miles. Was a great price, but showed up pretty bad. The ppf was like a 5 year old covered it in Saran Wrap. It had a radar detector professionally installed, but it made the mic unusable. Previous owner had a dog and...
All of our local independent euro shops work on Taycans. Short of working on the HV battery, everything else is the same. Definitely don’t go to the stealership unless you’re doing warranty work.
Windshield: 70%
sides: 20%
rear: 20%
top: stock.
Out here in Colorado it was a big help to cool the car off in the summer. Night driving in rural areas sucks, but the city is fine. Our other taycan had 15% on the side windows, but that was too much…looked sweet on the black car though.
We bought a Tesla for our folks as they get close to their 80s. The FSD definitely helps them. It’s fun to drive, but definitely feels cheap (love the stereo tho!) Another buddy, he only buys Teslas…the guy is a terrible driver. He took the car off FSD to swerve out of the lane to hit a...
Do you have a local shop that can do the work? My Porsche dealership bills out their techs at $500/hr while other shops are closer to $200/hr. Also parts are a lot cheaper. I’ve only used the dealership for recalls and warranty work.
