Call me crazy but if I were asking a premium for a PTS car I think I'd try and make sure there were actual photos in the ad...

What I find annoying about the long press is that you can hear the audible "click" when you press the button, which fools you into thinking that the car has accepted the input, when in fact one needs to linger longer. Also: If you don't use the Power button then comfort entry doesn't work.

If you find yourself visiting the same handful of Ionity stations on a consistent basis, I'd suggest "starring" them in the native Nav system. Much easier to find them that way than putting in the address.

I have the Porsche crest on the face of my watch as well (which I wear all the time) so I guess I'm "special" when it comes to the need to reconnect all the time.

I have the Porsche app on my Apple Watch and it works well. However, if I go more than a day or so without using it, it signs off and I have to authorize it through the phone app again. Frustrating b/c if my phone was at hand all the time, I probably wouldn't be using the watch app... Just...

Thanks for the info. Did you take your Taycan in for service specifically for these updates or was it in for something else? Interested to hear what, if any, difference you notice on the PCM when you get the car back.

Sunset Porsche says $1,739.09 for this part number. Ouch. Since it is illuminated I assume there is an electrical connection that is necessary as well?

I had similar issues. I turned the brightness all the way up and then backed it down, settling on a level above wherever it was when I started (CPO car). It's been ok ever since.

I suspect it will come to the pre-2026 Taycans, eventually. If it makes us feel any better, my understanding is that Tesla compatibility is finally available on BMW EVs...except for 2026 models.

Whenever I drive my Taycan I think about how thrilled my 18 year old self would be with me :cool:
