What I find annoying about the long press is that you can hear the audible "click" when you press the button, which fools you into thinking that the car has accepted the input, when in fact one needs to linger longer.
Also: If you don't use the Power button then comfort entry doesn't work.
If you find yourself visiting the same handful of Ionity stations on a consistent basis, I'd suggest "starring" them in the native Nav system. Much easier to find them that way than putting in the address.
I have the Porsche crest on the face of my watch as well (which I wear all the time) so I guess I'm "special" when it comes to the need to reconnect all the time.
I have the Porsche app on my Apple Watch and it works well.
However, if I go more than a day or so without using it, it signs off and I have to authorize it through the phone app again. Frustrating b/c if my phone was at hand all the time, I probably wouldn't be using the watch app...

I had similar issues. I turned the brightness all the way up and then backed it down, settling on a level above wherever it was when I started (CPO car). It's been ok ever since.
I suspect it will come to the pre-2026 Taycans, eventually.
If it makes us feel any better, my understanding is that Tesla compatibility is finally available on BMW EVs...except for 2026 models.
