Yes. The TSB shows that LIN wiring as well as coding is needed. You can attempt a DIY by wiring each of the LIN connectors in each of the tail lights to the BCM2 module and code.

If someone gets around the coding part for the "fancy" animation, would definitely like to do it myself also.

Couldn't care less about the led logo, but the locking/unlocking animation i do like.

i installed the euro lights and while i had it all opened i connected the LIN to test for animations. there are a few testing options in piwis that may activate it, none did. doesn’t mean its not possible but it wasn’t working when i tried

when using the scan tool, is maintenance mode consider “spoiler position 5?” … I can adjust to that position but I don’t see an option for “maintenance mode.”

Got mine today! Took about a month to come in from Lithuania, super well packaged. Now I’m debating it installing it myself or just ask the dealership to swap it out while they have it to replace the tires.

Just finished mine, took me a while because the 2024 has slightly different steps to do this but it’s done.
