We’re specifically talking about J1.1. The older cars had 48 A. Now the question is have they been hobbled to 40.

“the update may only hobble OBC's in vehicle's that are known to porsche to have a problem” - it absolutely could be the case. I just used the “tool” and got all green report on my battery. so I know it’s in great shape. I will be with my contacts in the future, and I will get a direct answer.

As I copied everyone on in my recent thread, just back from Porsche with all the latest updates still charging at 11 KW. I will inquire with my sources, but I don’t know that this is 100% deployment/“perfect info”.

Yep, there was a handoff between the 7xxxxx numbers and the Porsche numbers. Still working that to make sure it’s right. And happy to revise. I don’t claim to be perfect. But you guys could give some constructive feedback without the edge. 👍🏽

This information was sent from Porsche dealer as part of my estimate approval. All work done at Porsche Dealer. This is the new system they use to automate your approval process. It absolutely applies to everyone. No back end stuff went on here. We need to be able to convert these codes. Geez...

I will double check my conversion to Wxx codes. You picked one error out of a 30 minute video and continue to harp on it. Therefore the entire video was inaccurate? I also posted a full Battery R&R video done at the porsche dealer. That was also inaccurate - right? Geez.
