Thanks for the info. Did you take your Taycan in for service specifically for these updates or was it in for something else?

Interested to hear what, if any, difference you notice on the PCM when you get the car back.

David, I would have to agree with @Tooney. Campaign references do not align.

ASB2 is the most recent backup camera safety recall
WRA6 is correct as it is the cable for Porsche Mobile Chargers
WSS6 is a 12v battery sensor
BMS OTA Update was part of ARB6/ARB7

I have been critical of you in the past (8 years or 80k miles HV battery warranty claims), but you continue to post incorrect content confusing the community.

This information was provided by Porsche.

ASB2 is the most recent backup camera safety recall - OK
WRA6 is correct as it is the cable for Porsche Mobile Chargers - We agree so why mention
WSS6 is a 12v battery sensor - i am double checking and will update
BMS OTA Update was part of ARB6/ARB7 - I previously said this. No new information. Why mention?

I will double check my conversion to Wxx codes.

You picked one error out of a 30 minute video and continue to harp on it. Therefore the entire video was inaccurate? I also posted a full Battery R&R video done at the porsche dealer. That was also inaccurate - right? Geez.

These are campaigns applied by a 3rd party service and don’t represent porsche nomenclature for TSBs or recalls.

They don’t hold value for people not going to that private/3rd party service, which I shall not name.

This information was sent from Porsche dealer as part of my estimate approval. All work done at Porsche Dealer. This is the new system they use to automate your approval process. It absolutely applies to everyone. No back end stuff went on here. We need to be able to convert these codes.

Geez, is it possible you don’t know everything.

the service codes are from https://www.coxautoinc.com/ - the url is in your pictures :)

I guess your porsche centrum uses them for excess work.
That being said, those service codes don't have much value, because they don't match what porsche uses.

Agree. This was sent by Porsche in USA to me. I click approve service… We can disagree on value.

I have to admit that we have been spoiled by @daveo4EV who I consider #1 expert across Taycan and Macan EV, so when we see what I would call a rookie mistake in your video, that prompted my response for you to make a correction. Then you post what appears to be a helpful 20k service but the content needs revision as you do not copy/paste what the dealer sent you.

Yep, there was a handoff between the 7xxxxx numbers and the Porsche numbers. Still working that to make sure it’s right. And happy to revise. I don’t claim to be perfect. But you guys could give some constructive feedback without the edge. 👍🏽

I wonder if you have the actual paperwork that you sign when you pick up the car. That version, at least by my dealer is perfect with correct campaign codes and descriptions. We all benefit from seeing what the services are like as J1.1 models now age and go into their 2/4/6 year services. Appreciate if you could share.
