Thanks! So the age of the car is an important factor in the cause of battery degradation? I would have thought it was dependent on mileage driven, or perhaps number of charging cycles, but I didn't know the age mattered all that much.
I will try the rebalancing at some point, but I'm not...
Current miles is 26633.
The average consumption from the "trip" screen in the PCM is 27.6 kWh/100 mi (27 mph average speed).
Here are the screens. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again!
Ok. So your car is as old as mine. Seems like you're seeing the same problem. How many miles do you have? Are you actually charging to 100%, or just calculating full charge range based on the % charge you did? I know fully charging the battery is bad for it, unless you drive right away. I...
That's still over 200 miles on a full charge and isn't comparable to what I'm describing. I'm getting 200 miles on a charge with "normal", not "fun" driving. You're getting better mileage than me.
My tires are fine. I have winter tires with adequate pressure. I don't know where the DMV area is, but you are getting considerably better range than me. How many miles on your car? What battery capacity do you have? I have the "high performance" 97kwh battery.
I've had my Turbo about 4.5 years (bought in September 2020). But it only has 26K miles. When new, the car got about 300 miles on a charge. Now it's only getting 200 miles. Is this normal? I don't pay much attention to range but lately I've been noticing how much more frequently I need to...
I know I found it on this site, and there was some discussion about it. Unfortunately, the search isn't working for me. I'm trying to find old posts of mine with the word "key" in them, and none turn up.
I lost my key and have another one on order. I had a cool replacement case on it that I'd also like to replace. It made the key look like my white Taycan. I've been searching, and can't find any of these, and I can't figure out where I got it.
Anyone know where you can get these?
Ok, my dealer finally looked at the car. They said the fan noise was from "rocks and debris" on the fan. They said that the fan was operating at normal speed, but was loud because it was dirty. They claim to have fixed it by cleaning the fan (for a charge of $500). I haven't gotten the car...
