2023 Taycan Active Parking Support hitting curb

Hi there,

I recently bought a base Taycan and was playing around with the auto parking feature.
The last 2 times, on the way backing into the space (parallel parking), back wheel hit the curbs.
Although at an angle large enough that rim was not damaged.
Anyone has the same problem? Should I take it in for service?

Even though mine got it optioned too, I couldn't find any scenario where I would comfortably use it.

To play with it, I guess you really need wheel insurance first..

I tried it a couple of times and don’t trust it so never use it. I’m surprised that it is even available as an option at this point given how poorly it works.

I tried it once, and had the same result…rear tire hit the curb. No damage to wheel. No interest in trying it again.

It’s not super reliable. Wild to me they don’t take liability for their own software. I had a 2018 E Class Coupe and Mercedes’ auto park was really good compared to Porsche’s.
