My wife has a 2020 4S that was in for service from March-May (77 days). We had a 2025 base model loaner with the performance plus battery and 20" rims. We now have a 2025 Taycan 4 loaner with 21" rims which I thought would feel faster but it feels slower, much slower. We are looking at getting a new leftover 2025 but want to make sure it feels at least as fast as the base model we had 4 two months (which felt as fast as her 2020 4S).
We both noticed how much slower the 4 felt accelerating separately. Do the rims make that much of a difference?
We aren't talking about top speeds, just accelerating from a complete stop or highway acceleration. They were both driven in "normal" mode and pretty much had the same options/packages.
