I'm at 34K and would be very interested to know the cost at 40K & the things that are serviced.
My recent service they checked the brakes to let me know after 33K miles I have 80% of my brakes left.
Evidently the regenerative braking and the fact I don't drive it hard or brake in extreme ways at highway speeds to go from 75 to 0 too quickly will lead to very long brake life. My 2000 Boxster had 42K on it and I never needed brakes.
Porsche's tiptronic trans would downshift automatically to reduce brake wear which was a brilliant race inspired way to extend the life of brakes to reduce pit stops.
I'm expecting very little service to be needed but when it does break then Porsche will get a premium to fix it.
The only thing I worry about is just how much it will cost to replace batteries that fail after the 8 year 100K warranty.
I've heard the vehicle could be in the shop for a month or more waiting for parts to get this done and there is no DIY option for that repair...
