I had cars with insulated glass and none, including the etron rs GT that has "half" of the insolation, i can't hear any difference and i'm very sensitive to sounds.

It's a lot more pronounced in the CT/ST.
I have driven two CT's back to back and the difference was absolutely massive because the Wagon shape is like an echo chamber without the glass.

On a sedan the difference is smaller, but it's still noticeable. The CT with insulating glass is quieter than the sedan without.

If you don't drive them back to back, then you probably wouldn't be able to tell as easily. The insulating glass makes the car feel a lot more premium.

I'm a bit confused - I understand the options, but I have asked this same board about the same question about two other taycans I missed on and I got comparison numbers like listed below. Why is everyone so bullish. Protecting your value or giving honest appraisals?

Not trying to call people out, but the responders don't seem to be consistent on their appraisals. I asked about a car a few weeks ago and all I hear was keep looking. Does depreciation have taycan owners freaked out? I'm buying a 2021 car because I can't afford a newer one, I believe in this car and I love it but seriously, the battery warranty runs out in 3 years its got $26K, and a lot of 22 and 23 have these option as standard. I know, I'm a newbie, if what you say is accurate I guess I should be lucky to get the car.

Just look at the prices on Carmax. Should be about 55-65k range depending on options for a 2021 4S

Interesting, I “owned” all of these cars and drove them back to back many times and didn’t have this experience you are describing

In this case most likely your hearing isn't as good or it just does not bother you.

I'd use this search tool to look across America for prices... just set the must have options (there are currently ~200 4s for sale, 2022 to 2024, according to that website):
