If your goal is to just reach 85% whenever the car is plugged in it's more reliable to use the general profile to set the limit. Set the "minimum charge" to 85% and make sure that profile is active. The car will then start charging when you plug it in until it reaches 85%. You can then use a timer to raise it to 100% when needed or just use the direct charge option.Thank you! I am reasonably sure that's what I did (minus the 25% min charge) but I will try again and see how it goes. Appreciate your response.
If you have requirements to when it should start charging (to hit lower prices etc) there is no way around using timers or you will need to have a charger that can control this.
Have you tried moving your key fob a bit around before testing? There is usually a safety feature that requires the fob to detect movement before it is active. Thanks @SergeyIndy. I have the right settings so don't think that's the issue. Sometimes (1 in 100), the foot gesture does work. I just haven't been able to figure out how to consistently recreate that magic!
