Thank you! I am reasonably sure that's what I did (minus the 25% min charge) but I will try again and see how it goes. Appreciate your response.
If your goal is to just reach 85% whenever the car is plugged in it's more reliable to use the general profile to set the limit. Set the "minimum charge" to 85% and make sure that profile is active. The car will then start charging when you plug it in until it reaches 85%. You can then use a timer to raise it to 100% when needed or just use the direct charge option.

If you have requirements to when it should start charging (to hit lower prices etc) there is no way around using timers or you will need to have a charger that can control this.

Thanks @SergeyIndy. I have the right settings so don't think that's the issue. Sometimes (1 in 100), the foot gesture does work. I just haven't been able to figure out how to consistently recreate that magic!
Have you tried moving your key fob a bit around before testing? There is usually a safety feature that requires the fob to detect movement before it is active.

Great thread! I'll add mine in the mix: 2023 ST RWD. Had it for 5 months and have driven 15.000km. Drove it 3500km through europe for our summer holiday and everything worked flawlessly. Never had any charging issues. I only use DCFC on roadtrips as I can charge at home and work with a 11kW AC charger.

Pro's: The drive is great! Still finding small country roads and putting the car in Sport Plus from time to time. It's a joy to drive. Range is as expected and plenty for my usage. On the longer roadtrips we usually charge every 250-300km. Combined with the super fast charging I have never felt like it was a pain to stop and charge.
Interior quality is great and no creaks yet. In general I have had no issues with the PCM in daily use. ACC works flawlessly (as in every german car I have owned so not super surprising).

Con's: The FOD system is a joke. Tried two trial periods. Both times I needed to contact the dealer who then created a ticket with porsche to get the activation through. First time this took a few days, second time TWO MONTHS and the app still shows that it's pending activation (so I can't cancel the trial period). InnoDrive and ALK is disapointing. Had an Audi A5 before where all of the assistance systems were better (except ACC which was similar).

I have had no false error messages etc. I did take it in as there is a slight ressonance coming from the front wheels (I think) at a certain speed. Dealer unable to feel it and won't do anything. I'll be changing to winter tires soon and see if it is tyre related.

Yep, that's indeed my goal. I don't care about time of day (i.e., charge when rates are lowest) as I charge at work for free. Will try the profile option -- thank you for the suggestion.

Interesting! Will try it.
