It's the porsche tax. When I had a Cayenne Turbo, I needed spark plugs to do a tune up. The spark plugs are made by Bosch. They were 10$ each at the auto part store but 40$ at the Porsche counter. Same exact part number. Identical once you take it out of the box. Only difference was the one that are $40 came in a porsche box, where as the $10 one came in a Bosch box.
