Hi,

New here so apologies if this has already been covered. Anyone in the UK waiting for a car that's been built. My completion date for a Turbo, was July. It's a the port (Emden), and had a dated august 13 to be delivered to the dealer.

Now it says active blocks, "additional quality checks" and a code... Dealer doesn't really know what's going on, but thinks it's due to semiconductor issues.

Anyone in the same boat, or know anything more?

Getting frustrating now...

Cheers

Probably TPMS... we are all waiting for TPMS.
My car arrived to the dealer last Thursday without TPMS.
No news when it will be ready to delivery.

Thanks for the reply. It just seems crazy to me. What my dealer did say is there 800 cars for worldwide delivery at the port, with no idea as to when they will leave. My build was 'completed' on the 286th July with an August 13th Delivery at the dealer.

Painful...

Just few minutes ago, I've seen that my car was "completed" on July 16.
(That's the day when protective foil has been mounted on it)

Edit: to make myself clear: I've been at the dealer, and I've seen my car in person.
(BTW: coffee-beige looks much, much, much better in real, than on photos! Same for olea truffle-brown interior. I'm glad that I left decision to my wife ;) )

Dave - the bottom line is no-one at PUK has any idea what is going on as the IT reporting is all over the place and even though your timeline may say one thing it probably isn't the case. According to my reporting, my car was leaving the factory in mid-July, yet it is still there.

Hi Chris,
Many thanks for the reply. It all adds to the frustration ?.

Here's a screenshot from my dealer with the dates. I guess you saying that this probably ins't correct? I do wonder how Porsche expect to retain customers. I can appreciate there are issues, but people just want accurate information, good or bad so that we can plan.

Clearly yours seems to be about the same timeline as mine. Should have been at the dealer August 13th...

My V334 line (ie exit factory) info was:
Planned - 18 June
Expected - 16 July
“Actual” - 17 July
The Actual never happened - my d/ship emailed me just after 17th saying in transit to Emden and then 2 weeks later when I chased for an update was told that still at the factory. I’m hoping against hope that I get an email this week saying that it has been built and on its way, but then again I still believe in Santa Claus………

Today, I learned that their Vehicle Management System is not quite reliable.
For instance, my car was scheduled for production a week after actually being finnished….
I’m not taking any conclusions, but those are facts…. during June (and July), I’ve been told several times, when production will start…then suddenly, I got a VIN on the day when production should start (July 23)…today, when I‘ve seen “my precious”, there was a date July 16, when ”he” has been protected by foil….

? Yeah I'm beginning to believe in Santa Claus, although at least you know the date he comes!

Yeah before the factory shutdown the dealer said it was on its way to Emden, then they said it wasn't, it was still at the factory, then last week they did confirm that it was at Emden, with this 'active block'.

I'm 10 mins from my dealer, but pointless going there as they just don't have a clue... Bizarre...

I guess they have got the reindeers corralled at least even if Santa is still AWOL. My d-ship is 300+ miles away and so can’t even pop round for a chat.

It’s Aberdeen, but we live in the Peak District - I’m getting mine on a lease and the broker got the best deal through them. Plan is to fly up from Manc and then do a bit of a road trip on the way back. At least there will be twice as many public chargers by the time it arrives ……..

That seems to be the same as me. July 23rd the car was completed and was supposedly on its way with a delivery date of 18-20 August. This date came and went and the dealer has no idea what's going on. He advised me yesterday the car is still at the factory. (I'm in Portugal, BTW).
