Aren’t they all special?

Seems like a great price with those options. Buy it!

Concur. Build sheet is amazing! I was referencing the PTS color. It's very sweet!

Specs for that price are great. But the fine print exposes dealer sleeze:
"Price does not include dealer pre-installed accessories: Starguard: $1395, Appearance Protect: $995, ClearShield: $395, Ally Theft Protect: $799."
Wow, once you read up on those "accessories", you'll feel dirty inside just talking to those people. The Taycan comes with Porsche Vehicle Tracking System installed (although requires monitoring subscription), so Starguard and Ally are pointless (but high profit margin) add-ons. Appearance Protect and ClearShield are sad, super-high profit margin versions of what you can have a good automotive protective solutions shop install. Given that's the barely legal chicanery they admit to up-front, anticipate a painfully drawn-out experience in the F&I office trying to upsell you on more super high profit margin stuff like key replacement warranty, wheel repair warranty, service plans, etc. etc. etc. all of which if actually needed can be purchased for a small fraction of the price elsewhere.

I wouldn’t worry about any of those add ons.

My car fine print price didn’t include “$2999 accessory package.”

I paid $0 for it. It’s all a part of the negotiation. They “throw it in for free” to make you feel like you got a deal. Price was good enough though for me.

Seriously, they should pay you $2,999 to deal with the effects of those "accessories".
  • Starguard is installed in a hidden location and wired into the the car. In other words, panels are removed and the wiring harness and OBD2 port are tapped into, all to install a completely redundant tracking system. And rather than being installed and inspected by Porsche factory technicians, it's installed by . . . . ?
  • Ally Theft Protect involves etching the VIN onto the windows and adding "warning" decals.
  • ClearShield and Appearance Protect must be removed to do an actually good install of paint protection.
