I rely on Waze more than Apple Maps or the native maps, only use it when I need to precondition. I’ll do my second road trip today (600 miles total) and see how the PCM does.

My Porsche app was updated on February 10, and since then CarPlay could not sync with my Taycan to get battery information.

I don’t have a Connect subscription for over a year, and the battery sync has been working. From the latest app update, it stopped. I have to go into the app: Vehicle / Functions/ EV Map Routing and toggle the share data every time I drive / connect via CarPlay.

Hopefully it’s a bug that’ll get fixed.

I now can’t get EV Maps to work at all. Having reset and disconnected, it now won’t reconnect. The Taycan never appears in “Vehicles” screen in Apple Maps having clicked “Open Apple Maps” in the Porsche app. Have removed the phone from Bluetooth, CarPlay, logged out of PCM. Nothing works. Ffs.

OK, much deleting and trying again... short answer, in iPhone Settings > Maps > EV Routing > Turn Off and then back on again the My Porsche extension. This seemed to reset whatever connection was (not) happening between the Porsche and Apple Maps apps.

On same boat here, had to manually go into app to get it syncing for each trip. Mentioned this while visiting Porsche Centre for broken heater, they have no clue how to fix syncing issue.
