I suspect that’s the reason, or the region, hence asking if there is anyone from Europe, without subscription, that has it the EV routing working.
I’m in the UK, and no doubt connect will stop working soon, and I’ll test it. However the last time it happened, nothing was reported from the car, pre heat, battery soc, remote lock, nothing.

I just did the connection and setup on mine and it works. What are you guys not seeing?

When I use Apple CarPlay in Taycan and look for directions to a destination, I do not see current charge level, which charging station I need to stop at, what will be the charge when I arrive and how long do I have to charge etc. I am entering destination and search for directions directly in the Apple map in CarPlay. I am expecting to see all above like I do in the Porsche route planner.

Yes, and when I set it up it on the Apple Maps side, Maps asked me if I wanted to share my vehicle data with the app and I said yes. Looks like everything is controlled through Maps (sharing) instead of the Porsche app.
can you please confirm which iOS version you are using on your iPhone and what is the PCM version in your car?

Just to make sure nothing was missed, you did the steps in that first paragraph, right?

Yes, I followed the setup instruction at least three times starting from scratch each times to ensure that I do not miss any pof he steps.

Make sure you've followed the instructions here to get to the "Apple Maps Ev Routing" section of the "Functions" menu.

In this video at 0.37 timestamp there is an option displayed "Share my vehicle data" and it is toggled to enabled. I am (and few others on this thread) not able to toggle that option to enabled and that's the exact issue I am reporting in this thread.

Correct. Though when navigating I do very regularly get messages saying “Maps has not received battery information from your vehicle”, which only started recently. Not sure if that’s related to the My Porsche app having the new toggle, or if it’s some other new bug, or if Apple is finally calling out a longstanding Porsche bug.
I am neither getting this message nor Apple map displays betray charge level or anything related to EV routing later.

Porsche Taycan Apple Map EV Routing not getting enabled IMG_9300

I don't have the toggle enabled but still works just fine for me.

The easiest way to test this is if you sign up for one month of Porsche Connect and see if that changes things.

I am running iOS 26.2 and PCM version 3882

I can't toggle it on in the My Porsche App either, however the option to share data is set to on in the Apple Maps app.

Same here, strange but it works. If only we could pre-heat the battery manually like other cars do in the VW group stable.

New here. It took a week for Porsche to sort out Connect on our (new to us) 25 Taycan.

What’s happening for me is that I follow the steps and initially, everything works. But after a couple of hours (max), Apple Maps reports that it has lost the connection to the car, and everything will be an estimate of SoC. It never reconnects, unless I delete the connection from maps and start over. Also, when I go into the My Porsche App under EV Routing in Apple Maps, it is always back at the “Start Now” screen, as if I’d never set it up.

I’ve had to re-start mine once and I’m guessing because one of the 2 apps has had an update and reset the login

I’ve logged out, deleted, rebooted, reset CarPlay, etc, etc several times. It connects, but seemingly just won’t “keep” the connection.

Mine seem similar currently, last updated 4 days ago. Apple Maps is my backup when PCM nav quits

mine does it too, my workaround is when I get in the car to go thru Porsche App to connect again, that rebuilds the connection till next time it happens

I lived with Apple Maps being disconnected from the Q4, so it’s not hugely problematic and the built in nav is perfectly fine - with the adding bonus of preheating the battery when charging is needed. I don’t do huge long journeys very often, so the integration isn’t crucial.

It’s disappointing for such an expensive car that this doesn’t work, though.
