Auto Zoom Map feature doesn't work in center instrument cluster in Map mode

Have noticed the Auto Zoom feature does not work in the center instrument cluster in Map mode. Ideally it would work the SAME as the PCM where it nicely Auto Zooms the map while driving normally (without a destination). For clarity sake, the PCM reference is in Favorites aka 'MyScreen' where the map zoom adjusts nicely to speed and location (surface streets v highway). Really is clever and would be great for the center screen Map Mode.

Has anyone overcome this annoyance?

I'm sure you've tried this but when the map / extended map is displayed in the instrument cluster and you press on the rhs thumb screw and select Auto Zoom, does this not work?

I can't remember will look out for it and report back. My Screen does as you describe but also thought the instrument display did also when NAV not running.

I have auto-zoom selected. I believe only when navigation is active? Haven't used navigation guidance yet.

Yep but odd that it auto zooms in the PCM MyScreen. it is a really cool feature!
