I just came across and looked at this video and had heard of this test before. I have not used the test, but with @rs38 description of CarScanner, I became interested. When I tested with CarScanner, my car was stating 11% degradation after 28k km’s?? I have not verified this in ny other way though. Would be interested to hear if any one on the forum has tried this out? Seems genuine and has TüV status? Any feedback?

Just curious why you haven't asked Porsche to check. Mine, done by Porsche, was 8% at 31800

I have asked Porsche, but all I got back was that “all is good”. No value or percentage loss etc.

And I thought the degradation by CarScanner seemed too high for the mileage

Car will go in for the PCM update next week so will ask Porsche again.

I saw a video with Aviloo (or similar) testing a 94Ah BWM i3 and what they concluded was pure bullshit. I owned such an i3 lately and you can read a widely verified SoH value from the BC which is btw. quite stable and does not go down to 95% in the first year, I assume because BMW simply uses net/gross capacity differently from BMS's perspective.

If you want to sell your Taycan and prove it's battery in well condition, you can check the SoH with either available tools or go to Porsche and let them read the same value with PIWIS3 ("fast SoH") with less decimals.

did they charge you sth.?
Or were you even lucky to watch them reading the diagnostics?

No it is free of charge. You have a battery warranty and I asked Porsche to verify whether the battery was within its specs. If not Porsche has to replace the HV battery.
