My boot has stopped closing fully as if there’s something obstructing it. I’ve comforted pack opening and closing which all seems to work fine except the closing which goes down but then reopens a small amount.
it can be pushed down but I’m finding it annoying as Incant see any obstruction

If I had that problem, I would reset the car by taking of the 12V battery for a minute or 2 to allow all systems to completely reboot.
If that doesn't help, it's probably a defect sensor which needs replacement.

A common issue is, that the boot won't close occasionally and stop at 2/3 of the way.
That does not seem to be your problem.

I have a '23 CT4. The offside boot/trunk hinge has been creaking for as long as I can remember. A few months ago it started refusing to close, intermittently. I never pushed it shut I opened/closed it until it closed fully.
By the 2 year service it was usually closing OK but I asked them to try to resolve the creaking.
Both struts were replaced under warranty.
They sound different to the originals; they tell me it's a different part number now so maybe redesigned?

I found i had a similar issue when the key is not on my person. Does it happen everytime and do you have the key with you ?

The dealer suggested that the key proximity has been an issue. However, my issue was completely unrelated to the key.

Is it when you hit close AND lock? For some reason it only goes halfway down when I do that.
If I just hit the close button, it works fine

Close and lock - the key has to be with you. I have tried to close the lid when the key was in the house and it stops part way down. Retrieve the key and it closes normally.

Does it always close when you hit the close (not lock) button, but only stop when you use "close and lock"? If so, then it is the key not being detected. Perhaps start with replacing the keyfob batteries. Also, if you have it somewhere RF shielded, like in a backpack or briefcase, or even if you start walking away from the car while your key in your front pocket so your body is blocking the signal.

I started walking towards the side of the car and waiting until I see mirrors start to folding before walking away (when key is not found, the mirrors don't even start folding, even though the trunk starts closing).

PS> If course there is another Porsche design "quirk", sometimes the car unlocks itself on me right after locking, so I always wait to see the blinker flash and make sure the mirrors don't unfold back and handles don't present. It happens rarely, and usually only when it's cold out, but still I feel I need to check to make sure the car stayed locked. But, that's another topic for another thread.

It happens when I press the close button on the bumper, when I use the key fob and also my foot (Comfort close).

Do you have buttons on the hatch?

Also, how do you close the trunk using the key fob?

Yes. Close button on the hatch and a button on the remote that opens and closes the trunk (boot)

I have 2 buttons on the hatch, one to close the hatch, one to close the hatch and lock the car. The latter stops more than half way down if keyfob is communicating.

As for keyfob button, mine only opens the hatch. Pressing it with the hatch open doesn't do anything (tries long press, multiple presses, nothing). Maybe cars in the UK work differently. I wish my fob would close the hatch.

The difference is not having specified comfort opening from the factory, then you only get the close button on the boot/trunk.
