Before I picked up my own car I had a loaner with the 18 way seats for over a month. It took me a month to get comfortable.
Having finally found a seat setting I liked, I was anxious on the way to collect my own (14 way) car, whether I could find the same position.
Again, it took a month but I...
Not being able to demist or defrost properly may become a safety issue, it's not just being cold that's the problem.
If you go through Porsche assistance, they may have access to loaners at your dealer that the dealer does not control.
If I was near enough to drive there myself (mine was...
I have a May '23 CT4. I understood it had the revised heater from the factory. It failed after Christmas and was replaced last month.
For what it's worth, the service department told me the heaters have been changed yet again as they were burning out by heating up too quickly.
The Porsche dealership I bought from did not do PPF and did not recommend the factory PPF either. If I was to add it they had a local guy they recommended.
My understanding was the dealership optioned PPF with cars they configured to protect them from showroom traffic.
I have never seen it on...
In 2022, when I was ordering, I noticed PPF on the (UK) showroom Taycans. I was assured by the salesman that they were factory fitted.
The only bits 'missed', which is why I noticed it, were the corners - such as on the bonnet/hood. The edges were all well tucked in and invisible.
Great...
I have a '23 CT4. The offside boot/trunk hinge has been creaking for as long as I can remember. A few months ago it started refusing to close, intermittently. I never pushed it shut I opened/closed it until it closed fully.
By the 2 year service it was usually closing OK but I asked them to...
And another thing...
There are often complaints about not being able to see all the instrument panel. Without sport chrono you get the standard wheel, no mode wheel but, I believe, also not as chunky.
I am inclined to think that Porsche designed the screen layout using the standard wheel as...
I believe so. CT's with sport chrono have the 'haptic' button on the lower screen for range mode.
If you don't have sport chrono the button on the lower screen is for sport mode instead. Range mode involves going into the menus, not a big deal.
Having seen the other replies I'm not sure if...
The OP wanted to know what was possible to add after purchase.
In the connect store, Porsche lists both available connect services and FoD together. Until a few months ago, sevetal FoD's were available by subscription.
This is close to the full set of what is possible to add after purchase.
Some of the replies are not quite correct.
The function on demand is still available for j1.1 cars. The confusion is not surprising as it's difficult to find and you need a log-in. Since about October they stopped 3 month trials and subscriptions for all except the data.
Porsche do install...
I may not have an answer for you but here are a couple of thoughts.
Don't trust the app, half the time what you set on it does not go to the car. To be sure the car's going to do what you want, look at the charging screen in the car and be sure there is a white line at 85% and a time when it's...
