I'm noticing you really have to stab and press fairly hard on the brake pedal to activate brake-hold, anyone else experience this?
No, the hold is super easy to activate. Once the car stopped, you release the break pedal a little bit and then press again a little bit and hold is activated. Light touch, super easy. One of the best functions of the car which I use all the time on every drive...

Okay, I'll try that....usually I come to a stop and just press harder on the brake to activate but I'll try a complete release and then re-apply to see if that makes it activate without dropping 40 pounds onto the pedal. Thanks

Despite the manual stating "...by quickly flooring the brake pedal...", a moderate squeeze works best for me, and feels more controlled and safe for not being a sudden or violent action and not attracting the attention of passengers. I use it a lot at red lights.
Ideally find somewhere quiet to practise to explore what works best and most consistently for yourself.

I have a Honda HRV and once at a stop, you just push gently and it activates....seems like we really need to drop some significant pressure on the Taycan, about twice as much as I'd think necessary, anyone else?
What year Taycan (your sig does not list a Taycan at all)? I'm asking because when Taycans first came out the hill hold was one of my big surprise complaints, however driving a later models it seemed have gotten solved. I always figured they fixed it with software, but maybe it was model year specific?

Please trust me on this: the amount of downward pedal pressure required to active the brake-hold on the Taycan is at least twice of even 3x more than any other vehicle with this same feature requires. I know it can't be adjusted so I'm just bitchin' into the wind but curious if others experience this too.

On the flip side, it requires very little effort to open the door from the interior....but that's because there's an electrical latch release or door-pop that actually does the mechanical on that.

Could you tell me how to have radio station presets visible? I'd like to be able to switch between 4-5 different stations at ease and for the life of me I can't figure this out yet, thanks
For radio presets I think you'll have to use the Favourites and when selected use the navigation arrows to skip between.

I should add I don't use this but may just work - no reason (ever) to leave BBC Radio 4!.

After you set them as favorites you can see them and select them from a list by pressing either area circled in the image below.

2021 and the brake hold works fine, just requires what I feel is twice as much downward pressure to activate

Yes, I do have a list and it's FULL of literally every station on the dial. My car came with 820 miles so the previous owner may have somehow entered a ton of stations. As usual with this car, best I spend some time sitting in the garage tinkering with it, thanks

Make sure you have clicked on favorites as the source before showing the list. Here's a video to prove I'm not crazy :)
