Speak to your dealer and purchase the extended warranty (it won't be cheap mind) which should bundle Green Flag Recovery.

Extended warranty in UK is approx £2,000 for extra 2 years. Includes breakdown. My view quiet good value ?

Good value here in Germany for € 1483,50/ year.
But even for £2000,- I'd do it.

Good, prices are quite similar to Germany than.

Check whether the breakdown service covers things that are not warranty claims, eg blown tyres. (Some manufacturers have that limit in their breakdown cover.)

The above letter suggests breakdown is a separate product. Does it add any value over an AA subscription (vs Nationwide FlexPlus which includes mobile phone and travel insurance for your family and cover in all cars).

"Porsche assistance" takes care of break-down.
Cars towed in via assistance are prioritized at the shop and an instant loaner is provided.

I had to go through the dealer to take out the combined warranty/roadside policy.
I think it's due to all the financial regulation disclosure documents etc on selling insurance.

Ultimately it is an insurance policy through a third party.

I found this out when I went to cancel it and also has to take documents in to the dealer (who didn't know why I was going in)?!
The refund when it eventually came through was from an insurance company.

Sadly no. I'm on a PCP with a £12k gap between the GFV and current market value so it seems daft to retain the car despite originally speccing it as a 'keeper'. VWFS/Porsche won't let me buy it at market value so it's buy or refinance at GFV. VWFS interest rate on 'used' vehicles is really uncompetitive so it's off to auction with Manheim in March.
