Can't set up a Homelink

See, you can’t get past this step because it wants you to press the car’s homelink button but there are no buttons to push! All this technology and I’m back to this!

I should clarify that if you press the three dots at the lower right side of the first homelink screen, it takes you to this screen:

However all of the options lead you back to the screen where you need to press button I.

So what software update was rolled out recently which led to the wrong software package for Homelink?

Which MYs are impacted?

I have the "latest" software and no recalls pending so curious as to what the root cause might be.

My car is a 22 Taycan S. They reprogrammed the PCM as part of one of the "recalls" for the 2 year service. I'm not sure how to bring up the version number.

Same. I sent the pictures to my service rep. He says he’s never seen that before and it’s definitely wrong. He’s going to go back to Porsche and ask.

Just got my 2022 GTS back from dealer today, and I have the exact same problem. HomeLink data wiped, can't open the garage doors, no i, ii, iii buttons on the roof button panel. Quite frustrating...

I got the HV heater recall done last week and no changes to my Homelink, so also curious about which update is causing this. I thought I had all the PCM updates but maybe not... and maybe a good thing.

Hmmm, I’m pretty sure lots of other people on this forum got the WPN9 update. What does your car say the software version is? IIRC it should be 3882.

I know it doesn't help, but for the record, I've had all the updates done to my 22 and Homelink was not affected. I would be shocked, however, if the dealer could apply an update for a different model to the Taycan.

Well that is concerning. You seem to have the same version as multiple other people on here that have not reported this Homelink issue. I was planning to get the WPN9 update applied to my car in June but I don't want to if this issue will prevent me from using Homelink.

My CT 4S is at the shop since Monday. They said all software settings are to right model and all options my Taycan has.

They order a new control unit for the Homelink which was planned to be installed on Wednesday. Service Manager was very supportive and mentioned that they potentially have to involve Germany to find a cure.
