Apologies if this is discussed here somewhere, I couldn't find it.

Recently I'm getting this error and CarPlay battery info is way off. Is there a setting to tweak, or a reset somewhere that solves this?

Appreciate any info, thanks!

It should sync every time you connect CarPlay to the car. I'd say force close the Apple Maps on your phone (while not connected to the car), then establish a car connection (CarPlay, phone to car), then launch Apple Maps. Then see if it has resolved.

It requires the CarPlay connection to update the battery SOC, so be aware that if you are charging the car, that info wont update until you're once again in the car and connected to CarPlay. Also note that it's an issue more to do with Apple than anything most likely. I had this feature on my Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and I would occasionally have similar SOC sync issues and if above did not fix, I'd remove the car (from inside the Apple Maps app on my phone) and then re-opening app would prompt me again to re-add car -- sometimes. LOL
