Carplay : Suggestions for improvement.

I come back to Belgium from the French Alps using the freeways and stopping exclusively at Ionity terminals.
Here is what I just sent to Apple, suggesting some changes in CarPlay Maps interface that will be more adapted to EV's.
Hope they will take them into account in their next update.

And you, what are your suggestions?

UI design does have some personal preferences baked in. For example, I disagree with your top suggestion regarding the large "41km..." bubble. I like it as-is, where it shows distance to the next turn or significant intersection. This is the primary (closest to the driver's eye) notification bubble, and shows the most relevant / next-in-time update.

That said, we'll see what Apple thinks is most important with iOS 26, coming soon to a phone/car near us all!

Just that any CarPlay gps navigation app could work at the same time as the pcm navigation.
It worked for me for a year where I could use Waze for directions and the pcm navigation at the same time to preheat the battery and give exact % at next station

I strongly recommend to not using CarPlay to route on long way drive. Indeed to take benefit from your battery heat, use only the onboard maps. It will warm up your battery and save you time.

That is not my plan. Onboard planner is AWFUL and suggests systematically other chargers than the only one I want (Ionity).
