Center Console Control Panel overheating issue

Our center console control panel (which controls the heating and air conditioning) gets really hot. I mean it is so hot you cannot leave your hand on it. My rough estimate is around 140F (60C).

Has anyone else experienced this?

Man its stuff like this that makes me start second guessing myself i.e. on top of all the other software/electronics issues posted in the last year or so on the forum ... but it is a forum and negativity does tend to dominate
However, that kind of heat is not exactly helping to keep the cabin cool!! Is this something that you noticed that developed over time or just another 'feature' of the car?

This problem has been intermittent. It has not happened recently. The dealer could not find anything that would cause it and asked me to bring it in if it happens again.

It just happened to my 2022 Taycan 4S which is only 3 weeks old. All displays were extremely hot. When we got home after 20-30mins and idled in the driveway, temp started to decrease. Not sure what’s going on? But I did text my Porsche dealer for their thoughts. Awaiting response.

Ok so I just got the uPdate And the seat harness recall done. And now I noticed that my PCM gets really hot. I will let my SA know and see what they come up with.
