Twice recently my overnight charging profile hasn't completed. I get an error message saying Charge Interrupted with no explanation. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Any solutions?

I would try temporarily turning on the "direct charging" option that bypasses all of the voluntary shutdown possibilities, plugging it in, and watching to see how long it will engage with the charger.

I started out with symptoms roughly similar to what you describe, and when I actually watched the charging process, it would only last for a minute or two before the car would give up and the estimate on the center console for when charging would complete would go into an endless spinner.

If you have an OBDII reader, it might give you some hints. Mine reported errors with the voltage range being reported by the onboard high voltage charger, which turned out to be faulty and needed replacement.

funnily enough I've had the same happen twice in the last 2 weeks, first time in nearly 3 years and over 50k miles. Will be keeping an eye on it and this thread.

I had loads of issues with this over the years.
See pic of what I would wake up to on my phone most mornings.
These errors would flag up hours before it should even have started charging.
So I wondered if it was the car communications?

I am not sure exactly what caused it, as a few things happened.

I contacted my evse charger and they monitored it and said the system was getting too hot and cutting out as it was running at too high a voltage (supply to house apparently). They tweaked the settings and it improved a lot.

Then I switched to an intelligent charging tariff and that seemed to also help. It works most of the time now.

Me too (just the once, though I don't recall how many weeks ago or what error message).

What EVSE? If it's US version of Porsche PMC+/PMCC, they've been known to overheat and interrupt charging, hence a recent recall (no replacement parts available yet, but you can get $600 towards another EVSE). Recall code APB6.

Same problem for me. I had a 22kw charger replacement a year ago and it worked fine until recently. The charge got interrupted twice in the last 2 weeks.

Update as of August.....Porsche Stuttgart finally agreed to replace my original charger with a new one and said they still don't know for sure what's happening, but the suspect it was overheating due to, PERHAPS, worn contacts.
Go figure.

It’s your charge port overheating. Has nothing to do with the charger you are using. I am going through this debacle now with so far no fix insight other then let’s wait for the temperature to go down outside. Other electrical vehicles will throttle amperage if it sees the port is getting too hot. The Taycan for some reason doesn’t have that capability and continuous to charge, overheats, then leaves you with an uncharged vehicle.
