Chargepoint not working from chargepoint app?

Has anyone had trouble activating a Chargerpoint L2 charger from the Chargepoint app since the network was added to the My Porsche app?
I tried 4 times from my Chargepoint app this morning (twice on each side) on a charger that I have used before.
Charger says "Waiting for vehicle", and my Porchshe app is stuck on initializing.

I can see that the charger can be activated from the Porsche app, so I'll try that next.

Thing about this charger is that it has a weird billing configuration. Since its inside a paid garage, the cost to charge is $0.25 per hour with a 4-hour max. If you exceed the 4-hours, it jumps to $6/hour. I think that's mostly an incentive to kick people off.

Update:
Charger would not activate via the Porsche app tried twice (both side of same charger).
I tried a 5th time from Chargepoint app and it activated. Only difference was the car was "On" when I plugged in on the 5th try. Doesn't seem like that should matter, but FYI.

After adding the Chargepoint service to your account, do you even need the Chargepoint app?
