I need help with a picture of the Cross Turismo model. My bumper and flares have been replaced, and I’m not too happy with the result. I’m arguing with the body shop that part 2 is misaligned with the bumper, as there’s a noticeable gap between parts 1 and 2. The body shop claims that part 1, which is original, is not in the correct position.

I can see both perspectives.

Can one of you take a picture of the left side of the car that shows exactly the same spot?

The other side is identical.

Thank you.

How is the gap from the quarter flare to the door flare?

It looks like both the quarter and the bumper flares could be aligned better. Note that the bumper flare has an alignment pin at the bottom of the bumper so it can’t be adjusted as much. The quarter panel flare is only held on by tape so it can be adjusted more to better fit the gap to the door and bumper.

What might need to be done to close the gap is to rotate the bumper flair forward a bit (since it’s pinned at the bottom) and shift the quarter flare down a bit.

Thanks. It looks good from far away. Can you post a close-up picture?

I agree that it is out of alignment, but it might be more than just the flares. It looks like the bumper is also out of alignment. If you close that gap, then it will make the alignment of the flares a bit easier. Here are a couple of pictures of mine.
