I can create a new profile on my home address
The navigation shows I am arrived + the range to this custom home profile shown in the '...' option of the battery charge is 0 when arriving.
However, this profile does not switch on (neither when arriving, or when connecting to my wallbox), also when I deactivate all others.

(Note that the general, location-independent profile does switch on when activated)
(The timers, I can get to work as well)

If you experience this too: I could make it work by setting the profile from the PCM in the car (versus from the app). After that, you can (de)activate the profiles through the app.

I only use timers - profiles too unreliable.

Profiles (locational) work great in my experience as do Timers.

Have you checked that your Home profile is 'active', if not then that will explain why it isn't springing into life.

I have 3 location based profiles active at any time and depending on where I am the correct profile is always automatically selected.

Connecting to your EVSE plays no role in profile selection or activation.

If needed clear out / delete all profiles from the PCM and then check that My Porsche App shows no or active profiles. Then create a new profile in the PCM.
