Customize 'split screen' apps in CarPlay (Apple)

Hi,

Does someone know how you can select the apps that you want to show in the 'split screen' view in CarPlay?

Looks like it is always showing the most recent used app as the main app in the 'big' box on the left-hand side. In my case Google Maps (I don't use Apple Maps).

On the right-hand side, the box with 2 sections, it is always showing Apple Maps and Spotify (in my case at least).

I would like to have it like this:

Google Maps in the left-hand side
Flitsmeister in the right-hand side (upper section)
Spotify in the right-hand side (lower section).

You can't. But with iOS26, in couple of months, you'll get customizable widgets. Not the best, but way better than what we have now.
