Anyone on the CP Highway have their TYD show they are on Vessel? Mine still shows that the car is at Emden.

Mine still says "at port". The dealer said it was on the ship, so I'm going with the dealer. TYD will eventually catch up.

Haha, I am sure they are anxious to get their money before year end! TYD may be the best/worst thing any car manufacturer has ever put out. I am probably spending 40% of my day now checking it and tracking the boat...as if it that will magically make it go any faster.

Me too. I go from checking TYD, to tracking the boat, to checking the ports!! I have checked the sites 3 times this morning already!!

Eventually, when you click the "On Vessel" milestone, you should see a ship name assigned under the On Vessel label. For me, that ship assignment occurred while TYD was still marked as "at port".

The more time Taycan buyers spend watching TYD and marine tracking sites, the less we spend studying Porsche "Protection Plan" products page and the "protections" below that the finance/insurance guy at the dealer is gonna spring on us when we rush in to sign papers and pick up our cars.

Only one I was even debating on getting was the Tire and Wheel protection. I am getting the 21" Mission E Wheels and they seem like they will be expensive to repair with the winters here in Chicago.

At this point I think we have a race on CP Highway vs SFL Conductor Baltimore arrival. CP Highway looks to be going straight there while SFL conductor has a stop in Halifax. I am on SFL conductor and it looks like it may get there earlier (12/1 maybe?) @ciaranob I've been refreshing looking for your conductor updates wayyy too much. Thank you for doing those!

Good point and thanks for the reminder! I did watch a YouTube video on how to charge the car. I’m sure there’s a few things I should be looking into before it arrives.
My garage got a makeover though in anticipation of its new tenant. Black epoxy flooring and a fresh coat of white paint on the walls. My priorities might be a bit out of order.

My dealer is installing the clear side markers for me. I will take a look at the rubber mats when I get the car. Sometimes I go with the weathertech mats if the Porsche ones dont have a side lip to keep water in.

Def not mucking about - CP Highway doing almost 20 knots in calm seas, 3-4 knots faster than Conductor through this stretch! The SFL Conductor is struggling at 13 knots right now in high seas with gale force winds locally between 25-30+ knots.
