correct, hence why I swapped to a Turbo (0 in queue, v 20+ for 4S).

Each dealer gets an allocation of each model and has a queue for each model of its own customers. So always worth calling round dealers to see how many in the queue, although I suspect that Mayfair etc get more 911 Turbo S than Aberdeen (no offence to the Scots!).
Greetings from Bonnie Scotland. Plenty of Turbo S’s in Aberdeen -911 and Taycan.

I put my order in to PC Perth at the end of November’21 for a CT4. Delivery was slated for April/May as the CT4 was on a shorter cycle than the CT4S at the time. This predicted delivery moved out to June’22 in early February.

Now the PC doesn’t know when to lock in the spec of the car or when it will be built. All up in the air - first world problems I guess.

Similar to another email I received yesterday on a Lotus Emira - have a deposit of £2k for a Q2’22 - now it looks like H2’23. Definitely going to can this.

Probably end up with nothing at this rate.

Plenty of Turbo S's in Aberdeen...in the dealers or you've just seen them on the roads?

We put our Turbo S deposit down in November and were two 2nd Quarter 2022 at that point. It's now (after a conversation with them a month ago) moved to "it'll be up to six months from now"

Ukraine seems to be the main hold up. I've been told I'm first in the queue for a Turbo S. I'm seeing a lot of comments on the forum that that might be something a number of people are told right enough.

I kinda believe them at this point. We first spoke to them in Sept21. At that point there were no Turbo S's on order. By November, one person had gone in in front of us. Now we're first in line again. I'm assuming that person got theirs between January and March when the stoppages hit.

It's the lack of knowing that's the frustration. I need to sell my current car before August. Could really do with the Taycan before then at the very very latest.

There's always an ONTO subscription in the meantime.

Over the past 12 months I have gone: -

Ordered - Cayman GTS 4.0 - Cancelled due to delay.
Ordered - Audi RS3 - Cancelled due to delay.
Ordered - Taycan CT4 - anyone's guess ;-)

Anything worth actually owning at present usually involves a massive wait. Unless your prepared to buy nearly new and get well and truly shafted paying over the odds :-(

Seen them (911 mainly and some Taycan T ) on the roads - very few Carreras in Aberdeen!
My CT4 will probably be a MY24 by the time it arrives - hope it will have a 300+ mile range even in the winter. Wonder what the price will be? ?

Interesting. I've ordered my GTS ST from Porsche Leicester.

I've heard of reep, but it's also Porsche preferred supplier for the region. Good to see such great results, and lovely car.

Out of interest, how much did the works cost?

And did you go via Porsche or direct?
Just seen your message. I had quite from another retailer and dealer matched. It was with Reep, cant recommend enough £2500 for Track Pack. Was taken from dealer on low loader so no chance of any damage on route. Dealer ceramic coated as only half the car they did for £435

Hi Andy

I haven't had any date confirmed by Porsche (Sheffield). When you say your 26th in the queue. Is that the queue for a CT4S? The process was described to me as follows. Porsche (Sheffield) are allocated x amount of cars per year. However, there never told exactly how many cars of each type they will receive.

I am assuming there is queues for 911, 718, Taycan, etc. Not sure if the queues are model specific i.e. you are 26th in the queue for a CT4S ordered through Porsche (Sheffield)? In which case I am somewhere in a different queue for a CT4.

I am going to ask the sales person to confirm exactly where I am in the queue and if that queue is model/dealer specific. At least then when I ring in 3 months time I can get some idea of the rate at which orders are being fulfilled.
HI...

Yes 26th in queue (Sheffield) for a CT4S, I is was in a much higher position on my original order for the base RWD config, but I simply had to change spec! Bottom-line is that the car will come when it comes!

Andy

Finally some great news yesterday. Vehicle left Emden on Wednesday, due to UK 13th, dealership 20th and should be able to collect week of 23rd, fingers crossed!

If it left Emden on the 4th it should be at Sheerness already.

Yep indeed, hopefully that date will come forward like the expected date of Exiting Emden which was 13th also and came forward to 4th. Assume it doesn't update until docked and off vessel which can take a while with current port congestion
