Unknowingly, you’ve made me feel a lot better. I’d been worrying I’d gone OTT on the options for a 4S to the extent I should have just plumped for the Turbo. However, seems I’m in good company or not alone in getting busy with the options click.

Psychologically, it is fascinating to see 4 or 5 different specs on here today, all around similar money, and yet all so different.

Meant to say, I so very nearly went for the Porsche Design Chrono Clock and decided to draw a line on spending at £114k (ish) for a 4S. Envious; now wishing I’d drawn a line at £115k instead. ?

Track your dream is now in the UK actually. a few on the forum have been using it.. SushiStu has a Taycan GTS through my dealership and has track my dream on his car.. Im told my car was locked down before track my dream became available hence no beer in tracking the ship.

Questioned my SA on Friday as I have nothing in MyPorsche App yet - he said he’s unsure but should be a link emailed later on… not convinced though

I got an email, your SA needs to do something on their system I believe to activate it

That’s the last email he sent me - but if you say they need to do something about it I might try and chase.

But TBH the key thing is to get an allocation, so I’d rather not be too annoying pre-production and keep a good relationship with them as it gets closer to delivery to make sure it all goes smoothly as it’ll be a 3-4h train journey to get there!

Does anybody know what the delivery pattern is from Emden To Grimsby is it weekly/fortnightly / monthly and do the cars for dealers in north west always arrive at Grimsby ?

I don’t think there’s any fixed pattern but it seems there’s at least one ship a week that goes to Grimsby from Emden. The Weser Highway that is in port at the moment often goes to Grimsby from Emden but there’s no destination port given yet. Keep an eye on that:

Oh, and it seems my car didn’t make it onto the Seine Highway but will be on “the next available vessel” according to my dealer. He couldn’t give me the name of the ship though so I’m still in believe it when I see it mode. I think the next ship to go from Emden to Sheerness will be the Danube Highway which arrives at Emden tomorrow morning

I believe north of Birmingham is Grimsby, and South is sheernes.

I also this it’s a 14 day pattern (I think)

Well I suppose that's better than once a month we will just have to wait and see if car is on the next one finger s crossed

Nordic Ace also heading to Grimsby from Emden, arrival scheduled for 15:20 tomorrow. Not sure if Nordic Ace is owned by a shipping company VW Group uses though
