Door handle touch sensor not locking car - handles replaced

I brought my 2022 Taycan in for service, noting that the door handle touch sensors would not properly lock the car. The car would lock, beep, and immediately unlock. This was repeatable on all four doors, though the key fob would reliably lock the doors. Solution: the dealer replaced all four door handles under warranty with units that include updated firmware. They look the same and so far, work as intended. Posting this in case anyone else has a similar problem. Enjoy!

Oh nice, my handles have the same symptoms and need replacing too. Does your repair sheet list the handle part number/firmware details?

FWIW: my previous car, a MY2018 Panamera, has 3 handles replaced under warranty for the same issue.
