So.. a month ago I got this error message in red. As you probably have guessed it, it has to do with the high voltage battery.

It beats me how this happened on a 15k km car, that has only ever stayed in my heated garage.. and had only been charged on an AC charger up to 80% (probably charged up to 100% like 3 times total) and a car that has seen a fast charger 5 times total.

Nevertheless.. it happened. And this is not the first major issue I've had with my 2020 Taycan Turbo S, but alas this is not the topic here. My bigger problem here is that it has stayed at my dealer for 4 weeks, awaiting "new battery". And still nothing. No info they can give me. No replacement car.. no nothing.

I'm from Bulgaria and they even cannot change the battery here. The car will need to be transported to Romania - once and if the HV Battery arrives - and then changed there and returned here to Bulgaria. Seems to me this would be at least 2 months without a car of an endeavour. Kinda heartbreaking for a 250k EUR of a Car with very few miles on it.

Would love to hear your feedback if such a thing happened to you. How much time did you wait on a battery replacement?

Search the forum - a few folk have been through a battery replacement - it does take quite some time.

I'll tell you what Porsche CLEARLY has not done very well, and that's build fault tolerance into their software. SO many of these issues may involve components going out of spec, sure, but the way the system bricks the car over all these things I would bet is unnecessary and clearly highly frustrating for users. They need outside help on their software. IMHO.

Good luck with your HV batt, hope it goes smoothly and quickly. Relatively that is.

Surprised they can't replace the battery in your local dealer – its not that big of a task – was very much designed to be swapped around. Must be a shortage of trained high-voltage technicians.
