I have a timer + profile which tells tycan to get fully charged by 6am, and charge only after midnight.
I did install emporia charger which charges just fine with direct charging, but when timer and profile enabled both car and the charger erroring out. Pictures attached.
maybe there’s a better charger which is recommended, besides the one Porsche has.
Appreciate for any advice.

Probably a conflict between the EVSE's software and the PCM - setting all timers in the PCM and not using anything in the EVSE usually corrects this - I use a ChargePoint's HomeFlex which is excellent and others have used it's software capabilities with success it seems (I still just use the car's).

I had a similar issue with my emporia and thanks to another user, they said to reach out to emporia so they can disable the retry loop. I did that this weekend, retry loop disabled on Monday, charging without errors using a timer and profile at home as of Monday night.

Interesting, I had the same issue. Solved by deleting cars timer and using emporia’s. Will ask to have the retry loop canceled.
