Its no surprise, charging infrastructure is very poor compared to petrol stations. Its more time consuming to own an EV, why people should buy them?

I didn’t receive my 2022 Turbo until December 2022. One year later I received a letter from Porsche encouraging me to trade it in. Their offer was below 50% of what I paid for it.
Ok, so comparing a car which was older than a year (due to the delay), comparing tail end of the pandemic retail price (probably with taxes and registration, and maybe even ADM) to a post pandemic non-negotiated trade-in price for a sports car in the middle of winter. This is as extreme of a comparison as you can make.

If I wanted to look worst case numbers like this, every car I buy depreciates 11% to 30% in just one day(!), since just taxes and registration in my state are >11%, and of course dealer is not going to offer a trade-in price the same as what they sell it at (why would they, they can get a same new car from the factory for cheaper).
