About to finally take delivery of my 4SCT ? and dealership offering me extended warranty ?
Porsche Taycan Extended warranty: Porsche vs Ensurall (3rd party) SmartSelect_20230920_210146_Gmail

After reading multiple threads here on this topic, and admittedly a fear of reliability issues down the road, I researched 3rd party options and came across Ensurall as seemingly best choice outside of Porsche.
Here's what I was offered:
Porsche Taycan Extended warranty: Porsche vs Ensurall (3rd party) SmartSelect_20230920_210643_Gmail

Anyone familiar with Ensurall or other 3rd party extended insurance in general? They don't cover battery or air suspension repairs but Google reviews are pretty good. Not.sure what Porsche covers either. Dealer hasn't yet dropped details of Porsche coverage but thought I'd ask my fellow Canadians.
I plan on owning the car for a long time and it'll be my daily driver.
Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

My understanding is Porsche factory warranty covers battery for 8 yrs / 80000 miles .

Sorry, I'm not familiar with third party warranties . However just curious to know, seems like you are based in US, why the third party warranty is offred in km ?

Following.
Based in Québec, 180 days before end of lease.

51,000 Km
Buy back $77k

I will keep it for an additional year or two (just had to buy 4 new winter tires / Hakka R5 EV).

Will buy it only if good extended warranty. I have not seen any 3rd party here in Québec….

The Porsche warranty extensions don't seem insanely priced to me (UK based...about £3k for 3yrs).

Yes, I get that they make profits on warranties etc...but the downside of things going wrong in these is hefty. Will be exploring them more in a couple of weeks, asking about discounts etc :)

Interesting that I inquired about extending the warranty and I was given only a 1 and 2 year option, not the three year option.

Update. I ended up going with the PAEW for 3yrs as I intend on keeping the car a long time but it's reliability is questionable from what I've read and considering it's a Porsche EV reapirs seem like they will be costly. The probelm for me with the 3rd party warranties was the lack of coverage for the air suspension which the CT has so that's why I went the the PAEW. It's a crystal ball decision I know but I want peace of mind. Not sure what impact there is on resale value.

Yes. That was the reason for my decision to go with the PAEW

So far 2 years 40000km on 4S CT, have replaced camera sensors front and rear under warranty and also replaced infamous heater under recall campaign( heater made it through 2 Canadian winters successfully ??). So my car has been okay so far! But I’m scared of all the expensive Porsche service and parts that may malfunction that’s been discussed on this forum after warranty ends. Will strongly consider getting the PAEW when it’s near the end of factory warranty!

When should I get the PAEW? At what mileage? I’m at 2 years 40000km now
I believe that the longer you wait the more exclusions there may be for existing issues (if any) so I would contact the dealership and see what's available at this time. I purchased it upon delivery so I could get the most out of the warranty but my understanding is that it can be purchased later too. The decision as to when and how much will be dependent on your comfort level with potential future repairs given the so-so reliability so far.
